Needs
The project aimed to bring together the State’s maritime services in Guadeloupe (Directorate of Maritime Affairs, Maritime Gendarmerie, Customs – nautical brigades and coast guards) into a single, functional building, forming a true interagency hub dedicated to maritime operations.
Objective: to provide a modern working environment that promotes cooperation, resource sharing, and coherence between entities.
Solutions
The design team, led by MPH ARCHITECTURE, proposed an institutional, cohesive, and sustainable building, symbolizing the State’s maritime presence:
• Coherent and functional platform.
• Clear, durable, and unpretentious architecture.
• Spaces fostering synergy between departments and openness to the public
ENERGAYA served as the environmental design consultant (Project Management for Sustainable Development) within a High Environmental Quality (HQE) approach.
